Somerset Lofts Hotel, Somerset

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. On the one hand, the rooms were not up to par; they smelt really bad and leaked water. Moreover, they were filthy, with cigarette holes on the bed and chewing gum stuck on the floor. On the other hand, the service was accommodating, and the staff tried their best to help us, even allowing an early check-in. The location, although convenient in terms of proximity to the highway, had its downsides, such as a lingering smell of smoke and the need to climb stairs to reach the sleeping area. The dining experience left much to be desired, as we had to clean up after ourselves, and the options were limited. Despite these negatives, some positive aspects included the included breakfast offering of waffles, cereals, coffee, juice, bagels, and more. However, the overall stay was affected by various shortcomings.

My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms were dirty and smelled like smoke, making it uncomfortable to breathe. Despite this, the room could have accommodated 3-5 people comfortably. The service was lacking in friendliness, but they did try to make up for issues with a complimentary rate adjustment. The location was convenient, right by the highway, but there was noise and smoke from nearby guests. The dining options left much to be desired with a lack of healthy choices. Overall, there are some positives but also notable drawbacks to consider.

The hotel had a nice upper loft room with a cool ambience, but it was slightly outdated and lacked some furniture. The continental breakfast was not up to par, leaving more to be desired.
